Position Summary:  Provides business and technical analysis of user requirements, products, procedures to enhance, create or augment software applications 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Develop and design solutions for current and new products, technologies, and systems 

  • Write detailed business and test use cases 

  • Write specifications including solutions details, test plans and release notes for projects 

  • Monitor and enforce adherence of new solutions to company standards 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to perform gap analysis, brainstorming and compiling requirements for product development, enhancements and process improvements 

  • Create and present reports on findings and recommendations to stakeholders 

  • Provide recommendations to stakeholders with the attention to needs, capabilities and limitations 

  • Participate in implementation with product teams and managers 

  • Other duties as assigned by management 


  • Minimum of an Associates’ degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school and at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Has a general understanding of the mortgage industry including secondary market and post-closing activities including trading and servicing 

  • Has experience using JIRA/Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Has knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 

  • Synthesizes complex or diverse information into agile development user stories; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures 

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops creative or alternative solutions; demonstrates attention to detail; works well in group problem solving situations 

  • Understands business implications and decisions; displays orientation to profitability; aligns work with strategic goals 

  • Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; sets goals and objectives; develops realistic action plans; displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making process; makes timely decisions
